Vanessa Raffaele

Vanessa Raffaele was born in Como, Italy. She began her training at the age of 4 at Dance Club (Merate, LC). Under the direction of Eliana Oriano she trained in ballet and later on pointe and modern jazz.

At 8 years old she moved to Rijeka, Croatia where she continued her ballet training at the Ballet of Croatian National Theater for two years. At age 15, Vanessa moved to Rochester, NY where she danced at Hochstein School of Music and Dance and Ballet Prestige. 

In 2019, Vanessa graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a BFA in Dance and a BS in Video Production. She then moved to New York City, where she completed the Dance Studies Program at Peridance Capezio Dance Center.

Vanessa has danced at the New York Public Library for the 2018 SUNY Chancellor Inauguration Dinner and has performed with DeLucia-Benson Dance, Donegan Dance Exploration, Rubix Dance Collective,

WellBeing Dance, Frazee Feet Dance, Dance : Corps as well as having performed works by Randy James, Jason Ohlberg, Bliss Kohlmyer, Paula J Peters and Winston Dynamite Brown. Vanessa has been training with Marie-Christine Giordano Dance since January 2020 and is company apprentice as well as associate video artist. While in NYC, she did some volunteering as a movement teacher assistant with House of the Roses which she continued virtually until 2022.

In summer 2021, Vanessa moved to Rhodes, Greece where she worked at Cyprotel as an animator, entertainer and dancer. In October she returned to Milan, Italy where she began working as an apprentice with Drum Dance Women Company. Currently she is living in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands where she's working as a dancer and fitness instructor in TUI Magic Life.
